## TUESDAY GROUP ITINERARY — NORTH MIAMI DEPARTURE (ITN #1)

### MONDAY, NOVEMBER 2 — STAGING & PREPARATION

**Boat Launching & Staging**
- Parking passes are required for all vehicles left overnight. See marina office for passes.
- Haulover Marine Center customers should check with marina staff for their captain's bag.
- TNT customers can pick up captain's bags from Linda Marin at the TNT marina office.
- Affix the boat decal to the starboard deck. Center-console boats should use the forward hatch or starboard side of the console. Do not place it on the T-top.
- IMPORTANT: The decal tube contains a label with your docking reservation information for Key West.
- Captain's Meeting: All participants must watch the mandatory FPC safety video. The YouTube link will be emailed before November 3.

### TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3 — MIAMI TO KEY WEST

**8:00–9:30 AM — Poker Run Check-In**
- Haulover Marine Center.
- Captain's bag pick-up before departure.
- Suggested departure by 9:30 AM.

**10:00–11:00 AM — Grove Harbour Marina Safety Checkpoint**
- Bonus poker card pick-up.
- Wear life jackets to receive a card.
- After visiting the safety checkpoint, boats may proceed southbound through Biscayne Bay.
- Do not depart until the helicopter has arrived to follow the boats.
- Be mindful of boat traffic and sailing schools.

**Powerboating in Paradise Helicopter Coverage**
- Helicopter crew will follow boats toward Key Largo.
- In inclement weather, the pilot may change the flying schedule.
- Boat drivers are requested to maintain moderate speeds.
- The helicopter will not chase boats traveling above 90 mph.

**Safety Guidelines**
- Wear personal flotation devices (PFDs) at all times.
- Always have a designated watch person beside the operator.
- Watch for floating debris, lobster pots, and wakes from other vessels.
- Reduce speed in marked channels and mangrove waterways.
- Be cautious around blind turns and congested areas.
- Do not follow other boats too closely.
- Be courteous to other boaters.
- Keep a lookout near the driver while traveling at speed.
- Always wear your safety kill-switch lanyard while underway.

**11:30 AM–1:30 PM — Lunch at Gilbert's Resort**
- Dock boats in tight rows without gaps.
- Do not exceed six boats in a single rafting row.
- Head bow-first into the current.
- Do not forget lunch passes.
- No fueling at Gilbert's.
- Additional fuel options are available at Marina Club beside Sundowners, approximately three miles south.
- No 93-octane fuel truck at SD Marine on Tuesday.

**1:30 PM — Departure from Gilbert's**
- Continue through the Upper Keys.
- NO PASSING in mangrove canals.
- Obtain the bonus poker card from the Deep Impact card handoff boat anchored just south of Gilbert's.
- This is the final safety checkpoint of the day.

**1:30–4:30 PM — Final Leg to Key West**
- Approximately 110 miles from Key Largo to Key West.
- Allow approximately three hours for the final leg.
- Key West marina offices are open until 5:00 PM.
- All dockage is by reservation only at participating marinas.
- Confirm that you arrive at your assigned marina.
- Your dock location is printed on the decal tube in your captain's bag.
- It will be dark shortly after 5:00 PM, so plan accordingly.

**Tuesday Evening**
- Hotel check-ins.
- No formal Florida Powerboat Club activities scheduled in Key West.

### WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4 — KEY WEST / RACE DAY #1

**Safety Reminder**
- PFDs are mandatory at all FPC events.
- Participants operating at speed without PFDs may be removed from FPC media platforms.
- Unregistered riders on a boat may result in immediate event disqualification.

## KEY WEST POWERBOAT VILLAGE — WEEKEND ITINERARY (ITN #8)

### THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5 — IN KEY WEST

**12:00 PM**
- Key West Powerboat Village opens.
- Vendors should have land-based displays active and staffed.

**3:00–5:00 PM**
- Thursday boats arrive in Key West.
- Participants should confirm their assigned docking locations.

**3:00 PM**
- FPC vendor tent opens to the public.
- Jackie Jones is on site with apparel and FPC staff.

**Dinner**
- Participants may dine at Conch Republic Seafood Company or elsewhere.
- Check in at the FPC tent Thursday, Friday, or Saturday to receive $65-per-person gift cards.
- Gift cards may be used throughout the weekend for food, beverages, or souvenirs.
- One $65 gift card per paid crew member.

**6:00–10:00 PM — Women's Body Painting Expo**
- FPC attendees are welcome.
- $1,000 prize purse.

### FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6 — SPONSOR APPRECIATION DAY

**10:00 AM–10:00 PM**
- Key West Powerboat Village open all day.
- RWO races in Key West Harbor.

**10:00 AM–5:00 PM**
- FPC video crew interviews sponsors at Powerboat Village.
- FPC promotional photo shoots.

**10:00 AM–3:30 PM**
- RWO Powerboat Races.
- Key West Harbor closures.
- Check with the dockmaster for harbor closure schedules.

**7:00–10:00 PM**
- Play poker cards at the FPC tent.
- Bring bonus cards.
- Saturday poker card game continues.

**6:00–8:00 PM — Sponsor Appreciation Awards**
- Sponsors should come to the FPC event tent for awards and photographs.

**After Party**

### SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7 — PHOTO SESSIONS & WOMAN KEY RENDEZVOUS

**10:00 AM–10:00 PM**
- Key West Poker Run Village open all day.
- No Saturday boat races.

**11:00 AM–12:00 PM**
- Helicopter photo sessions for event sponsors and anyone who was missed.
- Schedule with Ryan McCoy: 561-635-5674.
- Flying zone: South side of Key West near the airport.
- No photo sessions in Key West Harbor for safety reasons.
- Manufacturer/dealer sponsor time slots begin at 10:30 AM and continue at half-hour intervals through 1:30 PM.
- Six hours total helicopter flight coverage planned.

**12:00–4:00 PM — Woman Key Rendezvous**
- Approximately eight miles west of Key West.
- Helicopter coverage continues throughout the afternoon.
- Wear PFDs; the helicopter will not photograph participants without them.
- Anchor or raft several yards offshore.
- No beach access at Woman Key.
- If strong winds develop, an alternate location may be selected.
- Updates will be communicated by text message.

### SATURDAY NIGHT PARTY — $25,000 PRIZE PURSE

**5:00–11:00 PM — Saturday Night Poker Party**

- Wristbands required for restaurant entry.
- Obtain free drink passes, gift vouchers, and wristbands under the FPC tent.
- Four dining seatings, approximately 90 minutes each:
- 1st: 5:00–6:30 PM
- 2nd: 6:30–8:00 PM
- 3rd: 8:00–9:30 PM
- 4th: 9:30–10:30 PM
- Reservations available for large groups in the early seating only.
- No other reservations.

**7:00–10:00 PM**
- Play poker cards at the FPC tent.
- Bring bonus cards.
- Remember poker bands.

**7:00–9:00 PM — President's Choice Awards**
- 24 categories.
- Crews should be prepared for a photograph upon receiving an award.

**9:30 PM**
- Final cutoff for playing poker hands.
- Winners determined.

**10:00 PM — Poker Run Awards**
- Winners announced.
- Prizes awarded to the top five teams.

### SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8 — FINAL RWO RACE DAY

**8:00–9:00 AM**
- Early departure boats must exit Historic Seaport before the harbor closes at 9:00 AM.

**10:00 AM–4:00 PM**
- Final round of RWO Offshore Powerboat Race Championships.
- Multiple racing classes.

### MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9 — RETURN TO MIAMI

**10:00 AM**
- Depart Key West for Miami.
- Multiple restaurants and fueling locations available for the return trip.

**93-Octane & Race Fuel**
- VP Fuel schedule — Perry Stock Island.
- Friday, 1:00–5:00 PM.
